Installation of ntXdll
***********************

ntXdll is developed in Visual Basic® 6.0. Therefore some additional runtime
libraries have to be installed on the system. To read the help, some files
for the HTML help control have to be installed (the help requires
Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher).

Installation with Setup
***********************

The advantage of installing over setup is, that you are able to uninstall
all components (registry entries inclusive) over control panel - Add/Remove
Programs. Moreover you always have the newest files on your machine.

Execute Setup.exe and follow the instructions. The files will be copied in
predefined directories. You only will be asked for the name of the link to
the help in the startmenu.

Some installations require a reboot, if systemfiles have to be replaced.

Manually Installation
*********************

After executing the setup on a reference machine you can install other machines
manually. Copy the following files in the named directories and then register
some files on your system. Some files are normally present on a standard
Windows® NT 4.0 machine but is recommended to replace these files with newer
versions:

with the command regsvr32.exe <filepath>, for example regsvr32.exe c:\winnt\system32\hhctrl.ocx 

You can open the help with command
hh.exe %WINDIR%\Help\ntXdll.chm, for example c:\winnt\help\ntXdll.chm
or by doubleclicking the file ntXdll.chm.

Licencing
*********
The demo version of ntXdll, which can be downloaded on www.kleinetools.de or other
sites, becomes a full version with the file keyfile.ntx. This file must be copied
in the same directory where ntXdll.dll is installed. You will get the file keyfile.ntx
if you have ordered ntXdll via EMail. More infos on www.kleinetools.de.
